Pros

Proposify has a rare company culture that most organizations spend years trying (and usually failing) to achieve. It's a positive place to work and your co-workers will be some of the best, most compassionate-yet-driven people around. They like to invest in their employees' professional development and regularly encourage further learning and skill-honing. The benefits are quite good. The Leadership Team is usually quite open and transparent about the goings-on around the company, and employees are encouraged to ask any and all questions. Most have open-door policies when it comes to questions/concerns.

Cons

Sometimes they jump in too deep and it bites them. Most recently, their ambitious goals for 2021 weren't met which led to 25 employees getting laid off. As with other start-up / tech companies, there's a lot of pivoting. Sometimes that frequent pivoting results in layoffs. It's hard to feel as though your job is safe when seemingly random layoffs happen out of the blue a few times a year—and not always related to poor performance. Sometimes it's someone the CEO or leadership member doesn't vibe with. Point is, there's the right way to let people go and the wrong way, and they don't always choose the right way. They've been trying to bring their salaries up to industry standards to remain competitive, and while respectable, they're definitely not leading the pack in terms of wages.

Pros

Many nice people to work with who know how to work hard but to have fun too, flexibility with remote work, good benefits, nice office, Friday socials.

Cons

Low salary. management will pretend to be 'buddy buddy' but watch what they say about you behind your back. Typical start up making snap decisions regarding hiring and firing. The product is OK but has a lot of bugs and is definitely not suited to the market they want to sell it to. Very much a startup bro culture focused on keeping people at work rather than at home with their families. if you don't fit the clique then you won't get far.
