Boutique Marketing Agency with Room for Creativity & Growth
Oct 6, 2022 - Paid Search StrategistRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
QRY is an all around amazing agency to work for. The benefits show that they are truly putting their people first (unlimited PTO, outstanding healthcare options, flexible working hours, further education, etc.). Along with this, they give you all the support and tools you need to make your career and role your own. They encourage growth, instill confidence, and push you to constantly think outside the box. Moving to QRY has been the best move for my overall career and personal life...plus I've made some friends along the way!
Cons
QRY is a start-up agency which means they are still learning and growing. If you like being a part of something that is still in the beginning stages then, QRY is a great place to come in and really make an impact on the overall trajectory of the company. If you want a company that already has everything figured out from the top to bottom (aka big box agencies) then, that might be a better fit for you.

Progressive, Supportive, Smart Team
Mar 29, 2022 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
This team is SMART. Everyone who joins QRY owns their area of expertise, and works hard to have the client's best interest in mind. The brands in the client portfolio are cool, fun, innovative and passionate. We drive results because we are relentless in our pursuit for success when there's opportunity to win. And if there isn't opportunity to win, we're honest about it. The culture is incredible. Team members are truly encouraging to each other. There's a good mix of non-work related activities to help foster relationships. And most importantly, you're treated like a human. If your kid has a dance recital, your dog is sick, if you need to go to the dentist, if you want to take vacation, you are encouraged to do so without checking in on work. The QRY team really respects work life balance and encourages each other to live a holistic life.
Cons
The pace is intense, but what agency isn't? That's the nature of the industry. You really do have to work hard, but it ebbs and flows. And because QRY is still in the growth phase, you have to be comfortable wearing multiple, changing hats and comfortable in grey space.

Pros
No agency is perfect, but QRY is committed to its employee's morale and professional growth beyond any company I've been at. The agency is still pretty small, which leads to plenty of opportunities to tackle new and interesting projects--think, if you want to do it, you can. I can truly say there's not a day that goes by that I don't learn or try something new! Plus, a fully work-from-home environment lets me keep a semi-structured, but flexible workday. Unlimited time off and 401K match are huge perks! Agency is growing quickly and there is a lot of room for upward growth as a result.
Cons
In typical agency fashion, things move very fast and the expectation is that everyone is detail-oriented - not a con per say, but something to consider if you're looking for jobs. Work-life balance is typical, even better than typical if you're accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment.

- The company culture! They actively try to do better and be better - Burn out is taken seriously and taking a break is highly encouraged - Fully remote position while still maintaining a community feel - Unlimited PTO and 14 paid company holidays - Great communication throughout the team - It's a growing company with a lot of room for growth

Multi-Talented Agency with a Ton of Growth on the Horizon
Jul 28, 2021 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- A ton of upward potential with a very high ceiling. - Management is engaging and takes a person interest in personal and professional growth. - Encourages and empowers employees to make decisions and speak up with new ideas. - Genuinely wants to see the team succeed as a whole, and has an overarching "we" over "me" mentality. - Company-wide focus on a healthy work life balance with intentional desire for employee happiness and mental health.
Cons
- Must be an independent thinker who thrives in the grey area. - Will be asked to wear many hats. Must be have a nimble working style in order to adapt to adjustments in change and processes. - Growth pace sometimes requires willingness to work outside of job description (taking on a new client, helping a coworker, etc.) - Foundational processes are established, but few are set in stone, that is a con for some, but a huge opportunity for the right type of person.
