Pros

If you are a newer clinician, this agency has so many opportunities for you! Resilience Lab provides a supportive community, liability insurance through the agency, caseload building support, flexible hours, CEU's and continuing education through the agency, town hall meetings, an extensive onboarding process, a digital platform to administer client assessments, and foundational knowledge you will need if you would like to go into private practice one day. Elizabeth Vandyke who helps you with building your caseload is a wonderful asset to the company; she is friendly, supportive, kind, understanding, unconditionally supportive, and an overall great person to be around! Stav Koinis from the HR department is such a fantastic person to work with and is equally supportive, answering all and any questions you have and providing unwavering support through your journey at RL. If you are searching for a job that will make you feel a part of a greater community, then you have found the right agency!

Cons

This job is well-suited for newer clinicians seeking an entry-level position that is heavy on educational growth, development, and learning opportunities. Your salary will be contingent upon your caseload size and maintenance, which means it can vary at times. Make sure that you create a work schedule that truly has hours that suit your needs as you may burnout if you have a sporadic work schedule. Setting healthy boundaries/work parameters with clients is essential.

Pros

You get to decide which patients you'd like to work with, you can set your own schedule, and fellow clinicians (NOT management) are brilliant, wonderful and supportive people and colleagues.

Cons

RL is a shockingly unethical, disrespectful, money hungry, hypocritical and ruthless place where management does not care to listen to their employees and where patient care is not only not prioritized, but where active harm is being caused. Management is only focused on expansion when current clinicians are not even able to get the support they need (no responses to emails, software that is ineffective and inefficient, a "launchpad" of company rules and guidelines that are completely outdated and incorrect, for which clinicians are then penalized for following since they're...out of date.) Don't get confused here- this is a tech start up, not a mental health practice, and as such they don't care at all about the clinicians or patients that are being cared for at this practice. I could not recommend this company less.

Pros

They managed to hire some amazing clinicians who do good work despite the incompetent, unethical management.

Cons

The founder, Christine Carville just fired 12 of the top earners at the company without giving any explanations. This impacted 477 clients. Clients were not able to terminate properly with their therapists. Management did not even allow the therapists to speak to their clients first before sending out mass emails to clients about how their therapists will no longer be working with them. HR had promised that the therapists would be the ones to let their clients know that they could not be continuing work with them at Resilience Lab which turned out to not be the case. Look at the Google Reviews to see some examples from clients. All 12 employees who were fired are POC, queer, and/or have a disability.
