Pros

Great facilities, benefits package for mid-late career staff is strong, and there is genuine interest among the line staff to improve the company.

Cons

There is little to no structure in place for career path development of junior-mid level staff. Job openings are posted externally but current staff are actively discouraged from pursuing them. Corporate processes and infrastructure has not adapted to changing customer attitudes, budgets or expectations. Old school mentality with nothing but lateral movement for 'promotion'. Management has had it easy for too long and are comfy in their jobs. Not outwardly ambitious.

Pros

Have worked for SCITOR for decades. I wouldn't have considered working anywhere else. I've loved every minute of working on out nation's most important space programs.

Cons

Very worried about the changes since the SAIC buyout. SAIC has tried to reduce the impact but the next few months are critical. I hope they can figure out how to keep the tremendous SCITOR talent that our Customers adore.
