No merit-based anything at all, not even for promotion, and rampant (ironic?) discrimination against cis-males and non-transient lifestyles.
No real schedule to speak of, though a weekly attempt is made time and time again, despite it always coming down to daily revisions and last-minute updates (read: late night-before blasts about next day's "one time only" fixes, or even early-morning of notices of "one day" closure/change of pay rate).
Current admin team favors nontraditional gender roles and lifestyles -which is fine, as long as its not discriminatory (which, sadly in SMF's case, it often is)- and the result of prioritizing sexual orientation, economic background, etc., is a wildly inept management team cobbled together from roommates, lovers, and romantic hopefuls with very little pertinent experience between them (though, there are a few pros leftover from the founding team).
All in all, its an honorable concept to support the marginalized locals, but the current implementation is not only blatantly illegal but has a devastating effect on the bottom line, too...
