Pros
Simbio is great place to work if you place a high value on having awesome coworkers and you're the type of person who works hard and appreciates being respected. The work culture is not particularly "corporate". It's a small, down to earth company where you're made to feel like your work makes a difference. They care about their employees, which is reflected in the fact that turnover rate is super low. The projects are all really interesting and their mission, to improve science education, is great. In many ways it feels more like a non-profit, but with better benefits. They give generous bonuses that are based on their profits, so that's motivating.
Cons
Simbio isn't for everyone. It's a small company that lacks some of the perks of bigger tech companies, for instance, there's no gym or free snacks. Their office is comfortable and everyone is friendly and fun, but it's more like a small town than a big city. You'll likely be the only person in your particular role.
