Pros

I enjoyed working for Smart as I felt like I made an impact in the business and wasn't just a number. My suggestions were listened to and everyone's door was always open no matter what their title and level.

Cons

Depends on what you want, I love the fluidity of the business and the lack of a strict structure but for some people that isn't what they want. Smart is a true small business that is going places so the structure was beginning to be implemented before I left and I only left to relocate.

Pros

Constantly reviewing and improving reward package and most important work life balance is right

Cons

Sometimes too formal especially with the exit of the quarterly reviews which I think injected the fun needed to break up the year and a great opportunity to share knowledge best practice etc.

Pros

Good base salary and commission available if targets hit. However not many reps did hit the targets so bonuses not paid out to most of the staff. It;s an enjoyable job if the company trusted experienced, talented sales professionals to do their job but you are micro managed and bullied on a daily basis.

Cons

Management can be toxic. Unsupportive, threatening and negative. Would send text messages at the end of the day telling us if we didn't change we would lose our jobs. There is an assumption across the whole management team that if you haven't hit target it's because you don't care or you can't be bothered. This is a hard job and it's impossible with the unsupportive management I experienced. I felt my Manager was working against me and not with me. I left the job with no job to go to as the bullying and gaslighting was making me ill.
