Pros

You can be yourself by wearing what you want and don't care about tattoos. "Family" type company

Cons

Where to start: Poor communication from managers and use you to get things done for them but don't appropriately compensate you for the time. When trying to talk with a manager about something they dismiss you and basically tell you to 'get over it' "Raises" are a joke! after working for the company 10 years they only give you less than $1 each year (and it's not guaranteed you'll get a raise) Upper management does not care about the employee just the board members, themselves and then the clients. You will be last and you better not bring anything concerning up to them because afterwards you will be a target. Completely disorganized but play it off like they have their stuff together well. All-in-all do not work for this company unless you plan on having another job or two so you can live comfortably.

Pros

Great communication from CEO (great job John, you're truly an awesome leader). Great inclusivity. Great Education Team. Loved working with Development team. Great HR values. Great pay. Great remote opportunities. Women in leadership (on other teams) is pretty great.

Cons

UX team is the worst design culture in my career. I hate leaving a bad review, but be warned potential UX designers, UX team management is weak and passive-aggressive. Dominant toxic teammates are incentivized, personal relationships are minimized, trash talking is commonplace, it's not a creative environment. Teammates (and mid-level leadership) are pretty checked out on the regular. Company is slow and not innovative, stock is down 54% in 2 yrs since IPO. In 4 years of working there, Product Management shifted leadership 3 times, leading to a lot of goals and wins being a moving target. Those that succeed here are workhorses closing Jira tickets as fast as they can mixed with personality that blends well with existing teammates. Workplace doesn't focus on innovation or really moving the needle, even though its seems like such a cool opportunity for innovation. Worst issue of all: how they deal with conflict or negative reviews doesn't really involve training or improving things, though HR talks a good talk.
