No company direction, whatsoever

Pros

- competitive pay - awesome work perks - free lunch & snacks, drinks - great benefits, good vacation

Cons

- zero job security - mass layoffs happen, and often - unable to admit to failures in planning & execution - solution is to lay off employees rather than dealing with the root cause of the problem: bad management - lack of direction - seems like we're changing our product roadmap every couple of weeks - rash decision-making - it seems like 4 or 5 people sit around a table and make massive decisions that completely change the direction our company is going without properly thinking these decisions through - zero training - you're completely on your own, and no one has time for your questions. Even many seasoned employees cant even intelligently answer what we do, new product features rolling out, etc.

Once Filled with Promise - Future Looks Grim

Pros

- Engineering Team is talented - Product Team is good at recognizing needs. - Benefits/Perks are above standard.

Cons

- Empty promise to invest in their people. - No process or role descriptions. It makes it difficult to achieve goals when it is "all hands on deck" for all projects. - Leadership lacks experience, maturity and kindness. - Sortable does not live up to the culture it preaches. - HR is talented with text book solutions that you seldom see real results from.

Pros

Salary and perks are nice. Some of the people are great and really smart.

Cons

- Terrible sales culture. - Leaders have neither people skills, nor empathy, nor leadership qualities, nor desire to improve at all. - People get fired every two months. - The structure of the company changes every few months.
