      Ethical nightmare

      Pros

Ummm…they have a really fancy shiny new office space in Pittsfield. They will hire anyone. They provide a needed service, however poorly it’s done.

      Cons

Purely profit driven. Expect to see 3 clients per hour for 20 mins each, back to back, all day long, interspersed by groups that you need to bribe/threaten people to attend because you are paid per head. Pay rate so low you can’t afford a lunch break. Productivity valued more than client care. Useless, standardized supervision during which you are asked the same questions off of a form every week, no opportunity for actual conversation or reflection. Nursing staff is predominantly rude and abrasive, particularly with the clients who’s insurance companies pay their paychecks. Everyone is tired, burnt out, jaded. Always assume the worst of clients. Punish clients by forcing them to sit in a waiting room for hours getting sicker and sicker until someone has the free time to review the issue. Very poor crisis intervention plan/training. And finally, 1 doctor to 500+ patients. I know that’s industry standard, but it never sat right with me.

      Pros

When company what’s run by former CEO Charles Farris this was a company I was proud to work for. Was about our client and employees.

      Cons

Under current upper management more about profit. Yes, they still care about the clients the serve. This is a Non Profit company that is running it more like a for profit organization.
