    Pros

Telemundo 39 was a great experience, surrounded by a group of hard working people. They really cared about each other.

    Cons

There isn't much bad I can say about this job. It was hard work, but expectations were set early on.

    Advice to Management

Sometimes expectations to complete the amount of work needed takes more than the time in the day. Thank you for being understanding when you know an employee is doing their best. Continue to take pride in your work and your team.

I have been working at Telemundo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Most of the people are nice and you can build a lasting friendship. The work can be fun depending on what vertical and who you work for.

    Cons

Lots of problems with management and it's difficult for people to move up. A lot of unnecessary meetings all the time. Makes it difficult to get your work done. Boys club atmosphere in management and if you're not trying to be their friend and please them you are tossed aside.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring managers from ourside and instead develop your people to occupy those roles. It's frustrating when you have to train your manager.

    Pros

Competitive pay-rate as well as great benefits.

    Cons

Long hours and mandatory overtime can be grueling. Large disconnect between management and employees, as well as plenty of internal politics.

    Advice to Management

    None.

I worked at Telemundo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The best reason to work for Telemundo are the people. I truly enjoyed and respected every one of my co-workers.

    Cons

The only downside of working at Telemundo is that they are very top heavy with executive/management positions. Sometimes when there are too many chiefs and not enough indians, communication goes by the wayside.

I worked at Telemundo part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The best experience an intern could ask for! The Telemundo marketing team in LA made interns very involved with all the projects. We were also given extra tasks to get the most out of our internship. Supervisors were always very helpful, approachable and willing to give advice. Feedback was always very helpful as well.

    Cons

    Did not find any cons.

I have been working at Telemundo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The best thing about working in Telemundo 48 is the people you work with. Most people are Hispanic, so it is a different atmosphere compare to other places I've worked at. You get a lot of free tickets for events and concerts. You also get to meet Hispanic TV personalities.

    Cons

Limited resource. Low wages. excessive work load compared to general market local TV stations.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on people and not the numbers.

I have been working at Telemundo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The one nice thing about working for Telemundo is that it is part of NBC and Comcast. Most of the hosts of the shows are pleasant to work with.

    Cons

This company does not complete nor follow through with what they promise. Their management are all liars. Everything there is who you know not how hard you work. And the gossip that goes on there...I could tell you everyone's life story...
The management thinks they are so far up the ladder that they cannot even say good morning. If a show is cancelled, they just fire everyone. And whats more, they hire freelancers, pay double or triple the price for a service instead of reorganizing the dedicated employees they had...that place is a joke for a company

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, hold on to your good employees...you will eventually be a long and forgotten network if not....

Great company to work for. Great benefits.

    Cons

The disadvantage is more with media opportunities throughout the city of Miami.

    Pros

Working for Telemundo under the NBC ownership was rewarding

    Cons

Worked some weekends when there were events. Even though I wasn't in marketing, it was an all hands on deck
