It’ can be a good job, but field leaders and reps don’t respect your position

Jun 25, 2021 - Community Engagement Leader in Fargo, ND

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Flexibility. Meaningful work. There’s a lot of autonomy.

      Cons

As a remote employee, advancement is difficult. The goals are unclear, leadership publically says one thing and asks you to do another. This is probably because your salary is paid by fraternal funding to do good things in communities but thrivent makes more money by having you recruit. It’s a legal grey area as far as I can tell.

      Pros

      Cons

Old company that is trying to keep up. Limited promotion options. It doesn't feel like a corporate 500 company.
