The culture has become increasingly difficult. There is a noticeable gap between how the company presents itself and how it feels to work there day to day. Career progression is limited, even for people who consistently deliver, take ownership and go above what is expected of them.
There is also a lack of visible, consistent leadership. The CEO often feels absent from key issues, and senior decision-making can feel disconnected from the reality experienced by teams on the ground. The COO in particular appears to have a very different view of the organisation from the one many employees experience.
Good performance does not always seem to translate into recognition, support or progression. In some cases, taking responsibility and doing the right thing can lead to more pressure rather than more opportunity. This creates frustration and a sense that effort is not fairly rewarded.
The business would benefit from more honest leadership, clearer career pathways, better communication and a culture where constructive challenge is welcomed rather than treated as a problem.
