Best Job Opportunity You Can Find
Dec 14, 2022 - Sales Training ManagerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Trinity Solar is the first family and friend oriented company I have found that genuinely and whole heartedly cares about their employees; there is a built-in support system of leadership and management that guides each and every employee to their desired success. Trinity is essentially a follow your own adventure book of a career whether it's to operations, management, sales, etc. It is listed as a personal and professional developmental program because it is just that, a place for people who are desiring growth in their lives. It is also a place to financially grow, starting the job I was homeless and 1.5 years in making well over six figures. Most think that is only the top 2% of a company, but with the uncapped income structure, over 50% of my office are making above six figures this year! Overall this is the most rewarding job, helping people while helping the earth, a great place to grow personally and professionally, and great culture to be in while making great money.
Cons
The only con of Trinity solar is that it takes a certain person to do our job, it is not an easy job and it will push you mentally with constant rejection, which is why the pay compensation is so high and why the contracts with great families we sign are so fulfilling.
We are so pleased to hear that Trinity Solar has been a driving force in your personal and professional growth. Your story is inspiring. Great to hear that you are taking full advantage of the training, support and uncapped earnings potential. We appreciate your feedback as we are always looking to do better for our valued employees.

Great atmosphere & positive insight - But difficult life with high turnover
Mar 15, 2023 - Outreach RepresentativeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
You'll form great connections with your team and there are genuine opportunities for personal and professional development. I would see myself here for a long term career, however there are strong cons to the position that can't be overlooked. These cons have simple solutions but no one wants to implement them.
Cons
They stated that the position would be no farther, or will require no more than 30 minutes commute. I am currently driving upwards of 3 hours for my total commute and there is zero compensation. You are also required to be available for 10-11 hours a day. They say you have 1.5 hours of break in between but that time is spent commuting and rushing to eat as morning meetings always exceed their runtime - but the employee is spoken to in a condescending manor if they speak up against this.

Pros
My first year at Trinity was full of smiles, pride in the company, great hours, and decent starting pay. I felt trusted in doing my job well and felt the warmth of the office and the support of my leadership. Trinity was proud of me. I thought I found my forever job.
Cons
The company's moto is, "God, Family, & Money." RED FLAG! Year one must have been an illusion. The office somehow morphed into what I can best described as a high school attempting to be a college. The rules and job duties differ based on who you are. Some were permitted to work remote; others were required to come in for NO reason. Dogs were sometimes permitted (but only if you were a favorite). People leaving on breaks for hours (not punching out), a co-worker falling asleep at their desk numerous times a day for months. The RVP is a bully who is in love with himself. About 80% of the office lives in fear of this "man." The office cannot keep an HR rep longer than a few months. What does this tell you?

Pros
Managers are nice people. Very understanding and flexible. Work day ends at 4pm and no one expects you to stay later. Once you know what you are doing there is not a huge amount of supervision or micromanagement. Very supportive management when dealing with difficult customers.
Cons
The company is big so changes take very long. Customers get frustrated with the timeline and most of the time is because there are lags in many departments within the company.

Pros
Pay is okay, but don’t sell your soul.
Cons
Working for this company is like slave labor. They expect you to knock doors in the freezing cold and if you’re 1 minute late to a meeting or to the field you’ll get unpaid suspension. Talk about not being allowed to have a life, family, traffic or any leeway. Expect to be constantly stressed from the long hours and clients slamming the door in your face or threatening your life to get off their property. They’ll also screw up your paycheck and you won’t be able to reach anyone at payroll. Don’t waste your time here.

Great company to work for
Dec 17, 2022 - Outiside Sales Representative in Franklin, MARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Amazing team environment Managers were always super helpful and supportive Good base pay Opportunity for growth and career advancement Great job for self growth as well Excellent training This is a great company to work for. I really enjoyed my time with Trinity. However I found out that door to door sales was not for me. If you can brush things off easily, are hardworking, disciplined, punctual and have a positive attitude this job will get you places. I would recommend working at Trinity to anyone who is looking to go into outside sales. I strongly believe that the company and managers care and wants to see everyone succeed.
Cons
Door to door. It’s hard. You have to be ok with homeowners being unpleasant. Mentally a lot. If you are a more Sensitive person this probably isn’t the job for you. Working in the cold, heat and after daylight in the winter

The good and the bad straight up
Oct 17, 2022 - Direct Sales in Reading, PARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Ability to make multiple six figures, 401K matching, dental and medical after a Certain period estimated 60-90 days. Paid training for first two weeks at $500 per week. Ability to make your own schedule once you are earning your own business. Not for the faint of heart do your research and know what your getting into! Some very hard working and good people of course. Little to no sales or solar experience needed.
Cons
Long hours in all weather doing door to door sales. Must generate your own leads and go door to door. Expect a lot of negativity, you must be very strong mentally and have a very high emotional intelligence. All expenses for your time, vehicle usage are not covered or reimbursed. You must furnish your own iPad and cell phone plan to use for your official Trinity Solar business, again not sure about the the tax write off on those items as you are considered a W-2 employee and not a 1099 self employed. Company invest very little in its sales force as they expect a high turnover rate.
