I have been working at TutorMe part-time for less than a year

    Pros

–Being able to work from anywhere at anytime –Flexible hours –Great for brushing up o or remembering skills –Always great to help others –Easy site to use with great features –A lot of students to tutor –Great way to make side cash while being a full time undergraduate

    Cons

–You have to claim lessons rather quickly because sometimes others will get them before you do –Pay is only slightly above minimum wage in the Bay Area, so a base rate doesn't always translate to the same value depending on where you're living

I have been working at TutorMe part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Tutorme allows me the opportunity to spread my knowledge and benefit other students like myself. Their platform is one of the most sophisticated on the market, and I have every tool I need at my disposal. It’s a great platform for tutors and students alike, and I feel respected and valued for my service. I wouldn’t rather work for anyone else.

    Cons

    Not sure how/if pay increases.

I have been working at TutorMe part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Work anywhere, anytime. The students are always fun to tutor and have not encountered a bad experience with a student. The online whiteboard is nice and smooth. You can draw freely, make lines, equations, write, type, and even code. You can also embed external files into the whiteboard workspace.

    Cons

With the amount of money they are charging students (up to $60/hr for the pay as you go package and as minimum as $39/hr for the lowest), they can definitely afford to pay more than $16. Tutors only take 40% of what the student pays and TutorMe pockets the other 60%. It should be the other way around. For a company with many individual workers, the company should get the smaller split while the workers get the bigger...

    Advice to Management

Manager of TutorMe, I can't help but feel bad about the students paying this much money per hour when they do not need to. Either lower their prices, or pay the tutors more.

I have been working at TutorMe part-time for less than a year

    Pros

The website is easy to use and very easy to set up, including the payment method. There are a positive environment and a general feeling of accomplishment from helping students. The wage for this job is relatively high and is great for supplemental income. The hours are completely determined by the tutor and allow flexibility.

    Cons

It can be difficult at first to get tutor sessions and they are taken quickly. This is a first come, first serve environment and takes patience.

    Advice to Management

I think that right now the format used is working really well and I would love to see the audience expanded so there are more students attracted to the site.
