Pros

Stable, Fun and Casual Atmosphere, ESOP, A lot of PTO

Cons

Promotions/Raises are extremely political and only available to a select few. Expect to stay at the same salary with cost of living increases on a good year. Management is a boys club and decisions are made in private without any transparency. Management is completely run by a select few account executives. Company direction is for growth and safety. The company does not take big risks. Don't expect major changes to happen quickly. Work from home is only offered on selective basis and you will likely have to be in the office every day. The company is not very diverse especially in management.

Two Rivers Marketing Response
10y
Two Rivers Marketing conducts annual performance reviews with our associates to provide everyone with an opportunity to share their personal goals and to identify their preferred individual paths for advancement. During the review process our associates are also encouraged to provide feedback to their directors, which helps to ensure open lines of communication that result in stronger team collaboration. In addition, ensuring our associates are properly and regularly compensated for their contributions to the agency is a fundamental aspect of our founding belief that associates come first. We strive to provide associates with flexibility, but encourage accountability for our work by providing a unique and creative office environment to conduct daily business.

Dishonest, Risk-Averse Management

Pros

Great physical building. I loved the architecture. The surface level perks like "Rec Friday" were nice.

Cons

Whether intentional or not, management has a history of playing favorites among departments and people and repeatedly comes off as dishonest. The inconsistent management is highly political while playing behind a Midwestern "nice" veneer. Company culture is extremely risk-averse and has no interest in innovation. Don't believe the "Encourage our associates to take risks" or "Celebrate good tries, even when they fail" statements. Innovation is a dirty word here. The company also makes a big deal of the StrengthsFinders assessment and posts everyone's strengths at their desk, then actively ignores those strengths in day-to-day operations.

Pros

Decent Benefits and nice building.

Cons

Has a history of laying off chunks of employees and then needing to rehire soon after.
