      Management is non-existent

      Pros

Rules don't apply and nobody is watching you unless you cause problems. You'll never see or hear from your boss. They will train you without treating you well, giving you a good reason to leave.

      Cons

There are a ton of managers but they're nowhere to be found during the day and won't respond to emails. Their responsibilities gets pushed to the middle supervisors who are more involved. Many people sit in their offices not doing much all day. There were multiple times when I needed guidance on major decisions for our facility and received no input from any plant manager. Surprisingly low sanitary standards. Bathrooms are a disaster, they dispose of their used toilet paper in garbage bins instead of throwing it in the toilet, sewage leaking through the ceiling is a regular enough occurrence that nobody cares to fix it, and solid protein waste can be found on any floor or surface in the facility.

      Pros

1: Low skill required, and people like me will teach you. 2: Felony friendly, get back on your feet. 3: Most folks are friendly, few bootlickers. 4: Meat sales, save some money on groceries. 5: A decent job, also plenty of OT if you can take it.

      Cons

1: High turnover rate, the freezer will break you if you let it. 2: Once you're gone you're gone, too many screw-ups ruined rehire. 3: Leadership is a bit sloppy, the higher-ups tend to favor profit over employee comfort. 4: Meat sales are inconsistent, it used to be bimonthly but it's a toss up now. 5:This is a JOB not career, better off using this place as a stepping stool to better opportunities.
