Pros

My employment with Uwill has been and continues to be a rewarding experience. As a Telehealth provider supporting university/college students, I’ve had the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young adults navigating academic pressure, identity development, mental health challenges, and life transitions.   Uwill’s platform is counselor friendly, scheduling is flexible, documentation is straightforward, and the structure makes it easy to manage client sessions efficiently. Uwill provides strong administrative support, free CEU’s, clinical support documentation, while also still allowing counselors to maintain clinical autonomy and flexibility.   If you’re a counselor looking for flexible hours, competitive compensation, and the chance to work with a population that genuinely benefits from support, I highly recommend Uwill. Whether you're building a private practice or simply seeking meaningful work, Uwill provides a supportive and impactful environment.

Pros

Virtual None that I can think of The company shows you very quickly that they are only focused on themselves.

Cons

Lack of Training No assistance with tech support/crisis support Expected to end session within 30 min timeframe for crisis and find another provider to step in. No appreciation for the providers who are dedicating their time to clients each day. No opportunities for growth. Lacks diversity BIPOC population are only selected as clinicians not for leadership roles.

We are saddened to hear that your experience did not align with your expectations. We value our community of dedicated, committed licensed therapists who share our mission of supporting student mental health. We want to take this opportunity to clarify a few points. Student safety and support is a top priority. We offer multiple weekly sessions allowing therapists to connect with our Clinical Affairs team for guidance whenever challenges arise, as well as ongoing, on-demand clinical support. We also seek and incorporate feedback from our counselor community, our partner schools, and our students to continuously evolve and strengthen our platform and our care. If you are currently working with Uwill, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly.
