I have been working at Verify full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Cool industry. Solid benefits package. Most teammates work hard and want to help each other. Family environment. Good work-life balance. Leadership calls you by name and seems to care about you as a person not just in your job. Training and growth focus.

    Cons

Certain aspects of the job still harder than before the ERP system. No individual bonus plan. A few negative complainers (who are not as hard working) still here - why are they here? Wish there was more clear and fast promotion opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Consider a more flexible work schedule. Keep talking to us. We like to hear what you have to say and what is going on. Continue to to provide opportunities to be heard. The Town Hall Meetings have been helpful to better explain the reports. Thank you for listening.

    Pros

Easy work, free coffee when it works.

    Cons

Upper management doesn't listen. Not a real challenge if you want to progress in your career. A lot of gossip and drama.

    Advice to Management

Doesn't matter because management doesn't listen.

    Pros

Great Management, mentoring and growth opportunity

    Cons

Lack of communication of upper management organization. Internal departments constantly push back on requests for assistance because they don't take initiative to work outside of their limited perceived responsibilities.

    Advice to Management

I have been with Verify for over 5 years. My direct management team is wonderful and encourage me to think outside the box and support me all the way

    Pros

Really interesting work, some great accounts & people really want to do a good job. CEO is great.

    Cons

President craps on the ideas of others but then represents them as his own, he can't admit his own shortcomings and is inherently paranoid. Best strategy is to keep your mouth shut & nod a lot when he's talking.

Conflicts between President and CEO are well known.

    Advice to Management

Stop treating the staff as the enemy. Stop surrounding yourself with "yes men". Listen to dissenting voices.

    Pros

Banker's hours, nice enough people there overall.

    Cons

Company management can't get out of its own way. Constant change/restructure and no real expertise in the area of their industry. No bonus or commissions yet it's a staffing company (which had been in process for 2 years).

I worked at Verify (More than a year)

    Pros

Fortune 500 companies are duped by this PoDunk Company. I've spoken with several other form Contractors and employees and concluded that the Company can not and does not conform to Industry (Aerospace or other) Business ethics and strict requirements each and every time. Older Contractors described a time where this company abide strictly to all requirements and offered jobs/assignments only to those overly qualified and not substandard.

    Cons

Contractors arrive to work assignments without contracts, tools, or proper background screenings. Last year.. a Contractor was terminated from a Fortune 500 due to disciplinary actions.. shortly after, this individual became a Final QC Contractor for that Fortune 500.. but, that Production Worker had never worked in Quality. But, this PoDunk Company cleared a path for advanced training anyways. Contracts are substandard to industry.. mid-20's hourly for the jobs that would normally pay double or more!

    Advice to Management

Start over with genuine, seasoned Veterans of QC/Quality and the Industry and pay accordingly.. not substandard anything. I should have wrote this last year!
