      Pros

      - Build software that help people (Red Cross, My Free Taxes, 211) - Nice, friendly staff with an easygoing atmosphere. Small company so everyone knows everyone - Keg of beer in office, free public transportation pass, company outings - Ability to work from home sometimes - Great work/life balance - Great place to grow your skills

      Cons

      - Priorities/projects are constantly changing from senior management getting too involved, leaving the managers and team frustrated with little time to work on products. - Little development time on projects, leading to little documentation, repeated issues/errors - Salary on the low side for software development companies - Not much career advancement inside the company.

      Pros

      Flexible hours and fun work environment for the most part. Good to know that what you are doing is helping people and not hurting them or hurting the environment. Great environment for learning. Fun people to work with.

      Cons

      Lower pay and benefits. Hectic work patterns with crazy design methodologies. Company priorities always shifting. Projects requirements always changing. You have to be flexible and willing to work in a ever changing work environment.
