I have been working at W. R. Grace & Co. full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

OK pay, ability to work from home if needed in emergencies, 6% 401k match, will invest in training

    Cons

Grace can not get out of its own way! Culture is AWFUL! Tons of legacy folks promoted through the ranks without the skills. They will hire you to do their job, overwork you and very little opportunity for promotion. Total boys club and kick rocks if you're a woman. This place is stuck in the 1950's and so is its technology. 2 years and still no CIO....what does that tell you?

    Advice to Management

Invest in the right talent to transform your organization. Clear out the layers of VPs and middle managers promoted who DO NOT have skills. Lots of people in functional roles with absolutely NO EXPERIENCE or CREDENTIALS. It's unbelievable. That is why you're stock price isn't moving!
