Lots of politics among the directors, people who are out-of-touch with what they demand of classifieds, and are also really bent on preserving their reputation as directors/leadership at the college. The college presidents are AMAZING, but the directors of different departments are roots of the issues.

Pay is too little, especially given that this college is located in the Bay Area where cost of living is very high. Most employees are highly qualified, but the qualification is not matched with high pay. Additionally, no extra benefits, like employer contribution to retirement, education bonus, etc.
