Pros

Polite and professional atmosphere. Low Stress.

Cons

Lack of innovation in processes. Slowly alter the nature of employees' roles. Placate and evade responsibilities. Roles will alter greatly over time. Enforce the completion of tasks completely unrelated to the job. Micro Manage almost all tasks. Use obsolete technology and software.

Thank you for the feedback. While we don’t like hearing that an employee didn't have an overall positive experience, we value this kind of insight. It helps us greatly in our efforts to continuously improve. Our writing department has recently undergone changes and we are working on more clearly defined mandates.

Great entry level job

Pros

Great colleagues, good location, food in the kitchen, great place for graduates to gain experience to put on your resume

Cons

Micro managed, poor compensation, those who say otherwise and have been there for years and are brainwashed to believe there isn't better out in the world. Management that hasn't been there since the beginning; those that "worked their way up" are all under qualified and are only where they are by sucking up to the right people.

MSR-eCustoms -by far the worst job I've ever had

Pros

My co-workers were nice and friendly but it's the management that's the problem at this company. Unfortunately, if the captain and his crew lack competence; it doesn't matter how nice and hardworking your ship mates are; the ship will sink. The pay is decent for entry - mid level sales people and that's what caught my attention in the first place. The technology is also solid but once again; your technology will only get you so far.

Cons

The Management team here is living in the 19th century. They seem totally unaware of what motivates people to produce good work----respect; acknowledgement; recognition---and remain with a company. If you're ambitious with lots of drive and want to work with a great team and environment; this isn't the place for you. If you don't mind 9-5 job where you don't have much input and do as you're told; this position may work out for you in the end.
