Recently, APMEX teamed up with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma for the Feeding Hope food and fund drive. The drive kicked off on a Saturday, with a day of volunteering where APMEX employees, families and friends helped sort canned food, boxed items and more, totaling 20,260 pounds of food, or 16,883 meals! The following Monday, Fun Week was well underway at APMEX headquarters. Employees were separated into teams to compete throughout the week to raise money for the Food Bank. Every dollar donated provides four meals to Oklahomans with food insecurity. This year, through events including a costume contest, lip sync competition and numerous raffles and silent auctions, APMEX raised $33,219.94. In one week, with combined food and fund donations, APMEX provided a total of 136,869 meals for Oklahomans who need it most.
Each month, APMEX holds an educational luncheon for employees to inform them on happenings both within the company and our industry. This month’s lunch and learn focused on Bitcoin. Employees were able to ask questions and gain a better understanding of how the cryptocurrency and blockchains work, especially within our market. Stay tuned for what we talk about next!
Spring is finally here and APMEX is taking advantage of it! Employees can check-out bikes to ride around downtown OKC and grab lunch, have a mobile meeting, or just take a few minutes to wind down. Our executive team had some fun riding around recently too!
APMEX employees came together last Thursday to spend their day at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma volunteering. They sorted food and created backpacks for hungry Oklahoma children. Our team was able to create nearly 26,000 meals for Oklahoman's.
