Jenny's Happy Little Helpers will make shopping easier for autistic children - ASDA Corporate

These handy Happy Little Helpers shopping lists are now available in more than 300 of our larger stores to make trips to the supermarket less stressful for autistic children. They were created by our brilliant Middlesbrough colleague Jenny Barnett, whose five-year-old son Charlie has non-verbal autism, to keep children interested and engaged during their shopping trips.

  • The UK Intelligent Markdown Project Team were in Arkansas last week to meet with the Walmart colleagues they are working with on a new dynamic pricing system designed to minimize waste. The global team, with representatives from the Technology and Business teams, speak every week and it’s been great to see some of the stores where this innovation is already in action!

  • We scooped a whopping 20 awards at the 2017 Grocer Own Label Food and Drink Awards ceremony – 12 gold and eight in innovation. So whether it’s our Smash cake, our Extra Special Farmhouse Butter or our Memphis BBQ Sauce, it's time to try them!

  • At busy times of the year, it's important that Asda colleagues pull together and make sure our customers Save Money and Live Better. Over the Easter weekend, it was a case of all hands on deck!

  • Did you know, being physically active can reduce the risk of developing breast cancer? To raise awareness of this, and to help get our colleagues active, we’re encouraging some of our colleagues to take part in the step-pink challenge!
