Our annual Supplier Day event took place this year in Singapore, at our Woodlands Height location, giving many of the 120 suppliers who attended their first chance to see the facility. During the event, we networked with key partners and presented awards to outstanding suppliers for their performance and sustainability efforts.
TLM 2022, or the Thought Leadership Meeting 2022, was where our leaders came together to discuss and learn from one another, celebrate our accomplishments in 2022, and reflect on our purpose and what it means to ASM in 2023 and beyond. #ASM #semiconductor #TLM
It really was epic - our very first Engineering and Process Innovation Conference (EPIC) took place last month. Eighty of ASM’s innovators and creators from around the world traveled to Maui, Hawaii, for three days of connecting and collaboration. Hichem M'Saad, our CTO and host of the event, highlighted that ASM’s continued innovation comes from learning from each other, working together across teams and countries, and the connections made at events such as EPIC. Our innovators also took some time away from the conference room for a catamaran cruise and hikes to explore the waterfalls and the scenic ocean coastline. We are still feeling energized (clean and sustainable energy, of course) by all the amazing work of the Semiconductor Climate Consortium at COP27 last month. Every donation matters. Last month, our team in Phoenix joined an Arizona State University Project Humanities initiative, collecting items for homeless outreach. Hundreds of pairs of shoes, items of clothing, and hygiene products (over 390 lbs/ ~180 kg and counting) have been collected to help improve the lives of the homeless in the area. On 31 October, we were honored to receive the Cyber Security Annual Report Index prize, an award given to a listed company as recognition for their transparent cybersecurity practices and how they handle cyber challenges. The prize, accepted by our CFO, Paul Verhagen, is given out annually by the Centre for the Law and Economics of Cyber Security (CLECS) and the International Center for Financial law & Governance (ICFG), two research centers linked to the Erasmus School of Law. Thank you to the centers for recognizing the hard work of everyone at ASM who makes cybersecurity a priority.
