At the halfway point of Mental Health Awareness Week #MHAW18 there are no signs of our people slowing down their support for this initiative. In fact, a number took to spin bikes in an eight hour Spinathon to raise money for our charity partner @Place2be. Place2Be provides emotional and therapeutic services in primary and secondary schools, building children's resilience through talking, creative work and play. It is a privilege to partner with such a worthwhile organisation and those on the bikes were driven to raise as much as possible. Well done to all!
In our continued support of Mental Health Awareness Week #MHAW18 we ran a number of sessions across our offices on Stress Management. Research has shown that two thirds of us experience mental health problems in our lifetimes, stress is a key factor in this and is the main focus of #MHAW18. The sessions, delivered by See Me had a focus on increasing Mental health Awareness and Stress Management. It has been great to partner with SeeMe as they have a clear vision to end mental health stigma and discrimination, enabling people who experience mental health problems to live fulfilled lives.
