Thank you to everyone who donated blood to the American Red Cross at the Plano FSC this past Tuesday! Because of your willingness to make a difference, we were able to collect 36 units of blood, with 18 of those units being “Power Red”! One whole blood donation could potentially save up to three lives and a Power Red donation has the potential to save six lives. On top of our success in collecting blood donations, we are overjoyed we had 19 first-time donors! Additionally, thank you to our volunteers! You gave us a helping hand when we needed it to support this amazing cause.

As Women’s History Month comes to a close, it is important to remember every day is a day for women’s history. Women take the path less traveled; they inspire and impact the world with their passion, creativity and advocacy. They are the voice for change and, even in their silence, lead fiercely and promote others to climb beyond their limit every day. Rent-A-Center continues its commitment to promoting the development of women through initiatives such as our Women Employee Resource groups, Women Mentoring Circles, and annual Women Leadership Conferences.
March is Women’s History Month! This month is a time to recognize women who have changed the world in so many different ways and fought to level the playing field for women in all areas. This month, we will highlight some influential women of RAC and Acima who are building a better future for our company. Although March is the official celebratory month for women, the work continues month after month, day after day, to continue to push forward for the further advancement of women.
