Our hearts are really happy today! Through Alliance Laundry Cares, we donated and installed a brand new Speed Queen washer and dryer at The Haven of Manitowoc County, a homeless shelter for men in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with organizations that share our mission to bring cleanliness, comfort, and dignity to those most vulnerable in our communities. We're so excited we can finally share this news! Last November, a production crew from the Magnolia Network spent two days at the Ripon plant talking to team members and learning how we make our world-famous Speed Queen washing machines. The finished segment is now available for viewing!! The television show “Extraordinary Stories About Ordinary Things” highlights everyday objects… like washing machines… and details what makes them special. The Speed Queen story of a global company growing from small town roots to become the world leader in commercial laundry was a perfect fit for their program. The Magnolia Network is available on the Discovery + streaming service. A big thank you to all the team members that shared their workday with the production crew and did an incredible job representing our team!
