My personal highlight is contributing to our various personal development opportunities, e.g. in the form of presenting at our Lightning Talks, organizing Meetups or setting up trainings with high-profile coaches from both Scala and Typescript communities. I also really like that everyone is open and tries their best to support each other in order to bring the company forward. The best moment I had at AutoScout24 : During a business trip to Barcelona, we had the idea to get tickets for El Clasico (FC Barcelona - Real Madrid), which happened in the week I visited. How has our Onboarding changed? Insights from Theresa Scherer (our People Services master) π€ Every newstarter @AutoScout24 will have a Welcome Day on the first day. One of the highlights is the tour round in our office. To be frank it is very cool. π But during the corona crisis we had to go remote completely. With the change to remote onboarding - we miss a lot of things, including showing off our office and of course, the first face to face get together as colleagues. But through our new digital onboarding tool that we integrated in January - we still can provide our newstarters with the best possible experience as well as sharing videos and photos of whatβs coming π And now we're happy that we can start coming back to the office again.
Step by step back to normal! β‘οΈπ»π©βπ« Not every company had the chance to go into work from home setup from day one. Here at AutoScout24 we could and we feel very lucky about it! We recognised how adaptable our team is to the new environment and we are very thankful and appreciative. πππ Now, with convenience of the within EU borders are reopening again - we announced our "Back-to-the-Office" plan. We have a clear step-by-step guide starting with two days a week at the beginning. Our goal is to create a remote working model with onsite and remote days that suites our people needs, ensures the safety of all the employees and new post Covid agenda. We will collaborate closely with our employees on the concept to create one that fits them best.
