A former engineering leader at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI), Porya joined BenchSci in early 2020 as an Engineering Manager responsible for leading BenchSci’s Reagent Platform team. With over 13 years of of project delivery, people management, and software development experience under his belt, we couldn’t be more thrilled to have Porya on our team as we work together to change the future of scientific discovery.
Formerly on the engineering teams at RBC and Scotiabank, Tony joined BenchSci in mid-2019 as a DevOps Engineer. He describes himself as a "technology professional bridging cutting-edge innovation with societal needs". Tony’s unique post-grad education in aerospace engineering allows him to view his now-work in biomedical sciences through a unique lens. Outside of the office, you might see Tony in the sky. Literally. He’s currently finishing up his Private Pilot License at the Billy Bishop airport.
