Last Month, CloudShift celebrated the end of March with a Thirsty Thursday Self Portrait competition with some very creative and amazing entries! The office was full for a fantastic evening together, with some stunning displays of technical skill and marvellous abstract renditions of one’s true inner self. In aid of International Education Day we kicked off a month long ‘Race4Education’ challenge with our parent company Globant. As part of Globant’s Be Kind commitment, our teams from across Europe got active and walked over 11,000kms to the home of Globant in Buenos Aires to raise money and awareness for everyone’s right to education. With our Globant friends, we are delighted to have raised $13,450 for La Rueca Asociación in Spain, ADFABER in Romona and Voyage Youth in the UK. All of these charities support technology training and empowerment programs for underserved youth communities in their given capital cities. Last month, over 100 people from Team CloudShift came together for our annual kick off, celebrating our successes from last year and looking ahead to the exciting things to come in FY23. It was great to catch up with our colleagues within the Globant family including the Navint Partners UK team as well as our friends at Salesforce. Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a fantastic day!

We’ve had a very exciting and jam-packed day yesterday at CloudShift HQ! It was great to see the team back in the office and we started our day off right by catching up over an incredible breakfast spread, from croissants to fruits, everyone had a little something to prepare themselves for the day ahead. Following breakfast, we had a barber’s and a nail technician on-deck to provide for everyone’s hair and nail needs. Alongside all this we had an extremely insightful Studio Enablement session that led us through Salesforce in the non-profit space, with an additional All-Hands at the end of the day to celebrate a successful close of FY22! To finish off the day we held a competition, where teams attempted to create the largest tower out of items they could find in the office at a chance of winning a selection of very luxurious valentines day themed prizes! At CloudShift we take wellness & culture responsibilities seriously, and ensuring the office is a comfortable and welcoming space where employees are able to work efficiently, relax and enjoy themselves is our main priority.

During the festive period, CloudShift and Salesforce were hard at work wrapping Christmas presents for Whitechapel Mission as part of our Pledge 1% commitment. The Whitechapel Mission is dedicated to providing a lifeline to the men and women caught in the cycles of poverty, hopelessness and dependencies of many kinds, and they see as many as 300 homeless and vulnerable people every day.
