Check out your Company Bowl for anonymous work chats.
Today, Coinbase announced that the future of the company is remote-first. This means that going forward, anyone who wants to can continue to work from an office. That won’t change. What is changing is that (almost) any employee who prefers to work outside of an office can. For many employees, it will probably be a mix of both. The employee experience should be the same, whether you’re in an office one day a week, five days a week, or never. After a period of WFH, we think remote work (or part in-office and part remote) are options that many people, including the top talent we’re focused on hiring, will come to expect from employers.

In May 2020, Bitcoin will experience its third “Halving.” Bitcoin is a digital asset with a fixed & predictable supply, unlike dollars. Bitcoin is designed to be scarce, like gold. Here’s what that means and why it matters in historical context.
DeFi, or decentralized finance, is an essential part of an open financial system. DeFi tools are censorship-resistant, unbiased, programmable, and available to anyone with a smartphone. For this hackathon, we’re focusing on bringing DeFi to the world. Follow along as hundreds of Coinbase employees across the globe explore, innovate, and build the infrastructure to bring DeFi to the next level. (Costumes not required.)
