The achievement is credited to all our DMMF Associates for their daily dedication to safety and emphasizes the importance of continuous training, open communication and Associate involvement in sustaining strong safety performance.
October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month – a time dedicated to increasing awareness, promoting early detection, and supporting those affected by breast cancer. Throughout the month, #TeamAAM took the time to recognize and honor survivors, remember those lost and stand in solidarity with millions of people affected by this disease by wearing pink, decorating with pink décor and hosting awareness events. #TeamAAM around the globe: ◻️ Sold AAM branded Breast Cancer Awareness Shirts to benefit Pink Sisters, a Detroit-area nonprofit organization that provides meaningful support to women navigating a breast cancer diagnosis. ◻️ Hosted a “Voices of Survival” panel discussion featuring several AAM breast cancer survivors led by our Detroit Campus POWhER Associate Resource Group. ◻️ Provided complimentary health screenings for Associates in collaboration with local organizations and educational centers. ◻️ Shared informational materials with Associates to learn about wellness and early detection. Thank you, #TeamAAM, for your continued efforts to spread awareness and support for those impacted by breast cancer this October and beyond! 💕
Championing AAM’s commitment to POWERing a future that is safer, greener and more sustainable, Changshu Manufacturing Complex – Plants 1 & 2 (CMC 1-2) in China recently hosted a weeklong sustainability event in support of AAM’s E4 Program and Earth Day in April. The initiative encouraged #TeamAAM to adopt eco-friendly habits like using renewable energy and reducing single-use plastics, with Associates tracking their efforts through daily check-ins over the week.
