Navies are increasing investment to protect vital interests and provide strategic deterrence; therefore, we view this domain as a growth engine. From unmanned solutions, through communications, combat management and weapon systems, sonar and Electronic Warfare capabilities to training systems, we provide navies with integrated solutions for new and in-service vessels.
High Power Laser was one of three growth engines we highlighted at our annual investor conference. The growing threat from rockets and missiles around the world increases the urgency to develop a solution. We believe that airborne High Power Laser is it. With over 4 decades of fielding laser technologies
Elbit Systems unveils the next generation of its Advanced Multi-Sensor Payload System (AMPS™ NG), adding Shortwave Infrared (SWIR) technology to the existing day CCD (Charge-Coupled Device) TV sensors, and a unique highly capable dual FLIR sensor design. Packed in the widely fielded two line-replacement unit (LRU) AMPS pod, the AMPS NG offers extended capabilities in all conditions, dramatically extending observation performance in limited visibility conditions, using its SWIR channel to effectively overcome high humidity, smoke, or dust
The precision required in the operating room is no different than the one necessary in a fighter jet cockpit. Our spin-off Beyeonics uses Helmet Mounted Display inspired tech to assist surgeons to perform surgical procedures. #BEYEONICS SURGICAL
• The Swiss Ministry of Defense awarded us with a $338 million contract for our E-LynX™ mobile Software Defined Radio. • Hermes StarLiner UAS will fly in the Canadian sky performing environmental protection missions. • The Romanian Air Force is upgrading its standard trainer aircraft. • The Royal Netherlands Army is further improving its soldiers’ networked combat capabilities. • New flight vision technologies and wearable display systems from Universal Avionics incorporated onboard the Gulfstream G-III demo plane. • Ultrawis, a startup from Incubit, our deep-tech incubator, brings combat aircraft technology to tower crane operators.
A new contract to supply Seagull™ USVs to an Asia-Pacific Navy. The Seagull USVs will enable the customer’s Navy to execute end-to-end MCM operations, handling bottom, moored and drifting sea mines. Elad Aharonson, GM of Elbit Systems ISTAR: “There is a growing recognition of the essentiality of autonomous capabilities to perform a range of maritime missions, especially Mine Counter Measures and Anti-Submarine Warfare. The Seagull USV has proven, since 2017, its capability to perform such missions, providing Naval forces with increased mission effectiveness, reduced risk and better cost-efficiency.”
Our Aerial Firefighting Unit marks 10 years of lifesaving operations. We’re proud to be a part of that journey, implementing our latest tech inside. Watch!
With an unparalleled field of view and high-resolution color binocular display, our Helmet Mounted Display System, X-Sight, leverages sensor outputs to create and present an intuitive view of the aircraft’s operational surroundings. The unified picture is comprised of both real and synthetic information, beginning with the aircraft visual sensors, including night vision sensor, Distributed Aperture Systems (DAS), Electro-Optic Payloads (EOP), X-Sight’s own integrated night vision camera, and more. The aircraft’s active sensors, including LIDAR, TF/TA Radar, obstacle warning systems, and others, are then used to create conformal 3D imagery.
