Happy 20th FirstSteps! This past Friday, we kicked off the new year by celebrating our 20th Anniversary with FirstSteppers from every office and department (special shout out to the Bay Area team members that were able to join us!) Our wonderful team was treated to a night of community, special shout outs from our fabulous FirstSteps Leaders, FirstSteps swag, delicious food, and a walk down memory lane, honoring our many kids and team members who have been a part of our journey. As one of the Founding Femmes, Dr. Jen Harris, reminded us - Together - we truly touch lives and make a difference! This is such a special place and we are so excited for the next, 5, 10, 20 years to come!

Sneha Kohli Mathur Ph.D, BCBA, Ellie Renz Ph.D candidate, and our Director of Research, Jonathan Tarbox Ph.D., BCBA-D, submitted an article earlier this year, Affirming Neurodiversity within Applied Behavior Analysis, that was published in Behavior Analysis Practice! Dr. Tarbox states, "Listening to input from Autistic individuals presents us with the opportunity to listen and commit to growth as a field as we become more compassionate."
Our team has been busy! From Dodger games to multicultural food fests to runs for Autism to Taylor Swift listening parties, we made sure May was a memorable month for our staff.
