How do you organize paper document flow between departments in open spaces? How can you handle hardware repairs and replacements in a #remote work reality? These questions loom large in our #Helpdesk team's minds. How did they overcome this issue? They came up with the idea of a SmartLocker! What is it? The SmartLocker is a custom-made cabinet, providing a safe storage space within our organization. It helps us provide hardware support 24/7 for any employee who arrives at the office! It's also useful for the whole organization in exchanging formal #documents with HR, Payroll, Finance or the Legal Team, if a paper copy is needed. Using SmartLocker is super easy – it works with our entry passcards. How cool is that?
Our Scrum Master Tomasz Franckiewicz shared some tips & tricks on how to design online meetings in a more efficient and productive way, improving their quality and outcome with only a few steps. Before the meeting ▶︎Decide on the type of meeting (occasional/recurring, project-related, integration) ▶︎Define the meeting objective in an informative & digestive manner ▶︎Choose participants & assign roles (who should lead the meeting, make notes etc.) ▶︎Create and share an agenda ▶︎Prepare yourself - polish your presentation or distribute materials that require a preparation During the meeting ▶︎Start on time (and finish as well) ▶︎Encourage participation with the video on – online meetings are easier when we see each other ▶︎Navigate with the agenda and focus on results ▶︎Summarize and close with the action plan After the meeting ▶︎Send the meeting recap and schedule the next steps ▶︎Manage the follow-up and action items ▶︎Manage the parking lot – a space with ideas that came up during the meeting but are out of the meeting’s scope
