Ground Control were delighted to support The Bumblebee Conservation Trust Exhibit , winners of a Silver Medal at this years Chelsea Flower Show 2023 for their fabulous 'Bee The Change' Exhibit. Planting to attract pollinators , provides food and shelter for our declining Bumblebee 🐝 populations, increases biodiversity , and strengthens natural food chains. Meet Tom, our Level 2 Horticulture Apprentice! Tom's apprenticeship has covered all aspects of Health and Safety including RIDDOR reporting and the Health and Safety act as well as the safe use of machinery, botany and plant biology. "The best part of my role is my team, they have been fantastic. Meet Laura, our Trees and Timber Apprentice! Laura's apprenticeship covers all aspects of the forestry industry including safe machinery use, climbing techniques and tree identification. "I love interacting with the public especially if we are working near to footpaths.
