      Pros

      The business is full of amazing, skilful and helpful people. This is extremely unique but so powerful to continue to grow as an organisation.

      Cons

      Only one (slight) improvement I would like to see is the number of sick days been removed. I am very rarely ill, but it certainly helps not having to potentially having to worry about that.

      Pros

      It’s difficult to find anything positive to say about my experience. I’ve never worked somewhere that I dreaded going to every day, and interactions with my manager often caused significant anxiety due to their management style (and the whole team felt the same). That said, I don’t share some of the negative views expressed about the CEO. From my experience in meetings with him, he clearly has a genuine passion for both the business and its people. However, it seems that trust may sometimes be placed in the wrong individuals to follow through on the culture he wants to create.

      Cons

      The overall culture is a major concern and, in my experience, falls well below what would be expected of a supportive and collaborative workplace. Management style can be inconsistent, and at times unprofessional. Following a disagreement with my manager, communication effectively stopped and I was largely ignored for around three months, which made it extremely difficult to do my job and contributed to a very uncomfortable working environment. There appears to be a disconnect between leadership intentions and the reality experienced by employees. While there may be a genuine desire at the top to build a positive culture, this is not consistently reflected in day to day management. Feedback shared in reviews like these points to recurring cultural issues, which suggests a need to reassess how that culture is being shaped and by whom.
