At Hopebridge, we’re committed to learning and growing at every level. From the kiddos in our centers working on new skills, to the university students in our fellowship programs, to the experienced team members participating in cutting-edge research—a focus on development is what continually advances our autism care. As part of this growth, Hopebridge announced new executive appointments to form a clinical department that is unparalleled in the behavioral health community. Hopebridge recently promoted two team members to significant positions within our leadership team. Dr. Adam Hahs is Hopebridge’s Chief Science Officer and Jana Sarno is Chief Clinical Officer for both Hopebridge and our new partner, AIM Clinics. Kim Strunk,
To us, the month of April is not solely about one thing. Just like autism is a spectrum, so is our view of the month dedicated to it. At Hopebridge Autism Therapy Centers, we choose to focus on awareness, acceptance and advocacy around autism spectrum disorder. This is why we are dubbing the month of April as A4 Month – Autism Awareness, Acceptance and Advocacy Month and we encourage others to do the same.
Autism Service Provider Expanding Access to Pediatric Care in Upcoming Year by Opening up to 40 New Centers It may be a new year, but our “resolutions” aren’t much different than years past … and we’re really good about keeping them! One of our intentions for this year is to continue to expand our reach to meet the growing need for pediatric autism services around the country. To do this, we have plans to hire more than 4,000 Hopebridge Heroes in 2022. This includes opening up to 40 new centers, bringing these new jobs in autism therapy to more than 140 locations in 2022. “With the CDC’s recent news that the rate of autism spectrum disorder has increased to 1 in 44 children, it’s imperative that access to quality services expands alongside it,” said our Hopebridge CEO, Dennis May. “In order to give these children the best possible care during their key developmental years, Hopebridge is bringing passionate, qualified behavioral health clinicians even closer to home for many of these families who require more support as they embark on their autism journeys.”
Why Florida’s Kids will Benefit from Hopebridge’s Diagnostics, ABA, Speech and Occupational Therapy Programs To provide better support for Florida families who want to see their children thrive, we are bringing our evidence-based autism services and vast experience into the state with up to 30 centers over the 12 to 18 months, starting along the Gulf Coast in Sarasota, St. Petersburg, Fort Myers and Brandon, FL.
Hopebridge Kicks Off 2021 with New Job Opportunities and Expanded Access to Care As we enter the new year, our Hopebridge mission remains stronger than ever: to help children with autism lead their best lives. To continue on this journey to provide access to care for even more families, we need to build onto our strong team of experts, which is why we plan to add more than 2,700 Hopebridge heroes this year!
Virtual Behavior Analysis Conferences You Need to Know About Though many events have been canceled or altered this year, there are some benefits to the changes. Hopebridge team members have been able to “travel” the country – virtually – to participate in some of the top conferences and applied behavior analysis (ABA) workshops as their hosts have taken the events online. In an effort to share the learning opportunities, we compiled a list of upcoming ABA conferences and conventions that should be on your list. Most are virtual, allowing interested guests to participate at a fraction of the cost and travel time, but there are a few in-person conferences in 2021.
Hopebridge BCBA Shares How to Build Tolerance for Face Coverings for Kids on the Spectrum COVID-19 has led to many changes in daily life and routine. From “sheltering in place” to social distancing to wearing a face mask, it is a lot for anyone to absorb. These changes in routine can be especially challenging for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Hopebridge is happy to announce plans to open 6 new autism therapy centers for kids in 2020. These essential services help address the high demand for therapy of kids and create +300 new jobs in Arizona, Indiana, and Georgia.
At Hopebridge Autism Therapy Centers, our #1 priority is the health of our kiddos and staff. In an effort to maintain an environment centered around wellness, we implemented a number of safety policies and procedures as we continue to provide essential therapy services for your child.
