Intrepid Travel - a global leader in responsible travel - has launched ‘Stay Intrepid’ - a new brand extension featuring a curated collection of six properties that offer experience-led, community-driven stays. The range includes five signature properties across Australia, as well as a riad in Morocco, with plans to grow into new destinations in the coming years. The accommodation, which can be booked independent of Intrepid tours, are distinct in character but united by Intrepid’s locally led, responsible travel ethos, supporting local businesses, celebrating regional cuisine and driving positive impact through partnerships with Intrepid’s non-profit, The Intrepid Foundation. The current Stay Intrepid portfolio includes: - Daintree Ecolodge on Eastern Kuku Yalanji Country in Queensland's ancient Daintree Rainforest. - Edge of the Bay on Palawa Country along Tasmania’s Freycinet coastline. - Arkaba Homestead on Adnyamathanha Country in South Australia’s Flinders Ranges. - Bamarru Plains on Limilngan and neighbouring Aboriginal Lands – Northern Territory. - Ooraminna Homestead on Arrernte Country outside Alice Springs. - Riad Joudour in the Marrakech medina in Morocco.
One year after acquiring Dutch tour operator Sawadee Reizen, Intrepid Travel continues its European expansion with the purchase of French adventure travel company Altaï Group. The acquisition is Melbourne-based Intrepid’s largest to date, adding more than $100 million in revenue and 35000 annual customers — enough to make France its fourth-largest global market behind Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Intrepid Travel has recertified as a B Corp and achieved its highest-ever B Corp score of 102.5, an increase of 11.3 points from its last recertification in 2021.
