When Maicky Meijberg moved from the Netherlands to Canada, he had to navigate making a career change while rebuilding his network from the ground up. After gaining business development experience in the renewable energy sector, he felt a strong pull back to consulting and the collaborative energy it brings. At Level5, he found the opportunity to lead, grow, and reconnect with what he loved most about the work. Recently, we sat down with Maicky and asked him to share his journey with Level5. From leading client-facing workstreams to bringing in projects he’s passionate about, he’s embraced opportunities to step up and make an impact. Recently, we handed the reins to our interns to choose our next “Level5 after 4” and they took us somewhere completely unexpected…a hip hop dance class! It was a brilliant idea that pushed our team outside our comfort zone and reminded us how much we grow when we encourage new ideas and stay open to new experiences. Moments like these reflect the laugh and learn culture that makes Level5 special, where we celebrate the courage to try, learn, and have fun together. Thank you to our interns for shaking things up and reminding us that great ideas and experiences can come from anywhere!
