In addition to internships, several students have also been selected for paid positions at Lowry.
We are honored to be recognized by Work Skills Corporation for our Outstanding Contributions toward the 2019 Summer Youth Work Experience Program Debbie Melvin and Nik D’Agostino from Lowry Solutions sponsored ten high school juniors with autism, with an interest in computers to be part of career exploration at our Brighton office. We were able to spend four hours with each student mentoring them individually. It was an exciting experience for the students as well as the mentors. The collaboration of partners involved in this program included Michigan Rehabilitation Services, Livingston Educational Service Agency, Mott Community College and WSC.
Part of Lowry Solutions’ Brighton Customer Service group recently traveled to our White Bear Lake plant. They were able to attend the St. Paul Saints vs. Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks minor league baseball game sponsored by Lowry. Great to meet and spend time with the people you work with daily.

We had a great time at our Western Themed Picnic last week. The food was great, the competition was fierce and the weather was fantastic - first day of Spring.
The 2019 Lowry Sales Conference was held at Grand Traverse Resort in Traverse City Michigan this year. Platinum sponsors were our partners Honeywell and Zebra. Other event sponsors included Feig, Seagull Scientific, Teklynx, ScanSource, Impinj, Bluestar and Xerafy. At the end of the day we networked while enjoying the view on the 16th floor of Aerie restaurant, wine tasting at Bonobo and Bowers and a BBQ at the Blue Tractor. In spite of the rain, the weather cooperated and we went away with new friends and business associates as well as additional knowledge.
