We are just about half-way through our Summer Internship program... A few quick highlights of what's been going on: 1. Wrapped up orientation where we heard from our department leaders about the impact their organizations have on our company 2. Intern Networking Night out at a local Evansville spot, Arcademie 3. Started our summer book club reading "The 1% rule" by Thomas Baker 4. Completed two professional development sessions: Healthy work-place habits to start now & Personal Finance led by Shawn Robey, DBA Looking forward to the rest of the summer and seeing all our interns accomplish!
Last week, Metronet hosted a donation drive to gather items to help those affected by a recent building collapse in Davenport, Iowa. The community responded in a huge way! Thanks to the overwhelming support, six truckloads of items were delivered to the Salvation Army to be dispersed to those displaced by the tragedy. A big thank you goes out to those who took the time to help and donate!

Kyle Hamilton Appointed Metronet's EVP, Outside Plant Today, Metronet announced the promotion of Kyle Hamilton to Executive Vice President, Outside Plant. “The growth that Metronet has experienced over the past few years is extraordinary, and I look forward to playing a pivotal role in its future success,” said Hamilton. “As we look to extend our reach to new markets faster than ever before, continuing to cultivate a culture that will attract and retain talent will be among my top priorities.” Hamilton first joined the company in 2019 as Vice President of Field Operations, overseeing and managing all installation and repair operations, the Network Operations Center, Operations Service Center and the utility locating function. During his tenure with the company, Hamilton has fostered a collaborative and customer-focused culture, leading to the transformation of the field operations department materializing into significant KPI improvements including customer experience, attrition and leadership progression.
