Our powerhouse team for Optomi Professional Services spent a couple hours with the new-to-us activity of axe throwing. Some got the hang of it quicker than others :)
We are thrilled to announce that our Charlotte team has made the Charlotte Business Journal's Best Place to Work list! This list represents the best of the best in the Charlotte region that offer a remarkable culture, great benefits, and have engaged employees.
9 million children in the U.S. are food insecure. 4.2 million youth experience a form of homelessness in a given year. Over 3 million children are hospitalized each year. This is why we Opt2give. For the past decade, we have celebrated our Founders Day by dedicating an entire work day to volunteering in our local communities. Together we created smiles, warmed hearts, and touched lives.
This November, we celebrated our 10th birthday! We have been volunteering every year on our Founder's Day for the past decade to impact our local communities and give back to those in need. We call this #Opt2giveDay Our Optomi markets partnered with local organizations to give back to their communities. See the full details on each market's giving back efforts here: https://bit.ly/3TlATGF We donated 1,000 TGBash Bags supplied by The TGB Foundation, an impact-driven nonprofit created in honor of late Optomi cofounder Todd Black. Todd always preached that small things make the biggest impact, and there’s no doubt these bags will impact the lives of so many little patients. We dropped off TGBash Bags supplied by The TGB Foundation to the following hospitals: Children’s Hospital of Atlanta (CHOA) in Atlanta Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte Children’s Health in Dallas Children’s National Hospital in D.C. We can't wait to give back every Founder's Day for the next 10 x 10 years!
As we celebrate a decade of Optomi, we’re taking a look back at some significant milestones over the years. A historical overview is now on our website. Thank you to the hundreds of client partners over the years who helped get us here and to the thousands of consultants we’ve put t work on their projects. And we’ve only just begun!
The Detroit team celebrated some birthdays this month with a delicious cake and their favorite sports teams! What's your favorite team to cheer for (besides the Optomi team 😉)?
The Charlotte team returned to Beds for Kids, dedicating the whole day to impacting their local community. The team Beds for Kids is a Charlotte-based organization striving to provide thousands of children and their families with furniture each year. The team has volunteered here several times before, this time in the warehouse moving furniture and handling deliveries. Most of the furniture donated is gifted to family with children in the Charlotte area who is in permanent housing and has been referred to Beds for Kids.
Optomi is proud to have sponsored the TGB Foundation's first annual golf fundraiser. The event was a phenomenal success raising thousands for children in under-served communities. An Optomi 4some even took home the grand prize! Next year's event in Chicagoland will be October 9, 2023. Save the date!
