Oregon Tool, Inc. celebrates its 75th Anniversary! In 1947, when Joseph Buford Cox witnessed the sawing motion of a timber beetle burrowing through a piece of wood, he saw something that no one else did and designed a saw chain that revolutionized the industry. Our founder’s ingenuity in finding inspiration from the elements to design a more efficient tool is a big part of who we are, but we’re not going to rest on our laurels.
