"I find it difficult to be alone, and that's where Russell has come in. He cares about my health, and he does it with joy." 💙 Meet Emily and her Papa Pal Russell. Through their story, you’ll see the power and possibility of human connection. At Papa, we believe we can’t do it alone because we’re not supposed to. Connected is how we come into this world, and we believe it’s how we’re meant to live in it, too. When we’re together, we’re stronger. Let’s come together and create a world where no one has to go it alone. #PapaCares 💚 #BeAPal #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #Together4MH ⬇️
Each May, we recognize Mental Health Awareness Month (#MHAM) to break the stigma and shed light on the fact that mental health is health. 🗣 This month, we invite you to reach out to someone who may be feeling down or alone and offer a walk in the park, a lending hand, or just an open ear. Small acts can go a long way. Offering this vital human connection is the role our Papa Pals play every day -- and it's powerful. For the members -- and for the Papa Pals themselves -- as you'll see with Bradley. Helping others helped him in turn. 💙 This month, and every month, let's be a pal. #PapaCares #BeAPal #Together4MH

We're pleased to be working with more than 65 health plans across the country, including Zing Health, to improve health where it happens. As this story in Home Health Care News shares: Papa has been ahead of the curve in terms of prioritizing social isolation among seniors, but it was the company’s ability to collect, analyze and act on data that made for an appealing partner, according to Zing’s CEO, Dr. Eric E. Whitaker. “For us, it solves what we think is a very important social issue, but it also gives us insight into the context of health for an individual,” Whitaker said. “We’re continuing to work with Papa on what sort of data to gather, and what sort of data exchange would be most impactful to serve our members better and get the health outcomes we strive to achieve.” Read more below:
