Supporting LGBTQIA+ Owned Businesses In recognition of PRIDE Month, each of our office locations will receive treats from Wunderkeks. Based out of Austin, TX, Wunderkeks was founded by married couple Luis and Hans who left their home country, Guatemala, to free themselves of a life in a hyper-conservative country where they felt they could not exist and be themselves. Learn more about Wunderkeks or place an order by visiting their website! We are proud to be part of an organization that believes in ongoing efforts to build an ever-more inclusive community, and want the entire LQBTQIA+ community and our own Shifters to feel supported and embraced, both professionally and personally.

Happy Women’s History Month and International Women's Day, a celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements made by all women around the world. We were proud to honor and uplift women this month, and every month. In true Shift fashion, all of our HUBs received treats tied to March’s recognition — for Women’s History Month, limited edition HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate Bars. The HERSHEY’S Celebrates 'SHE' campaign recognizes the central role women play in all of our lives. To further celebrate, we also hosted a Women's History Month Panel Discussion that highlighted some of the incredible Women Leaders here at Shift!
To honor Asian Pacific American Heritage Month at Shift, each of our HUBs received treats from Macadons! Donna Chan, the creator of Macadons, was inspired by her mother who one night whipped up a batch of the classic French macaron recipe and immediately became enamored. Over the following year, Donna mastered the macaron making process but felt her macarons lacked a differentiator. Inspired by her Asian heritage, Donna infused unique flavors, such as Taro, Durian, Lychee, Green Tea, and other non-traditional flavors, into traditional macarons. With her flagship store, nestled in the White Center area of Seattle, Macadons is an active member within the community. They regularly participate in donation drives, street clean-ups, and volunteering efforts. To further celebrate, we also hosted an Asian Pacific American Heritage Panel that highlighted some of the incredible contributors of Asian Heritage across Shift.
In celebration of Black History Month, and in recognition of Juneteenth, we partnered with Southern Roots Vegan Bakery, a Black-owned business based in one of our key markets, San Antonio, Texas, to deliver baked goods to all of our HUBS! For those unable to visit a HUB to try one of their vegan-friendly treats, Southern Roots offered a discount on their online bakery store to all Shift employees for 20% off purchases through the month of February. Southern Roots Vegan Bakery not only supplied us with tasty donuts but they also promoted and are educating the importance of Juneteenth. Included in each package was a copy of their their Article “CELEBRATE JUNETEENTH BY SUPPORTING BLACK-OWNED BUSINESSES.”
To honor Pride Month at Shift in 2022, each of our HUBs received treats --- Pride-themed Macadons! - $2.00 from each PRIDE Macaron box purchased went towards towards LGBTQIA+ charities.
