We are delighted to announce that our multi-asset liquidity platform, Fusion, has won OTC trading platform of the year at the 2022 Risk.net Awards. Driving the transition of our Global Broking operation from voice to electronic protocols, Fusion provides clients with smooth access to our liquidity pools across all products, asset classes, brands and regions, offering material scope for trading correlation opportunities. Don McClumpha, Chief Executive Officer, TP ICAP, EMEA, said: "This win is recognition of Fusion's scale of potential use and the innovation demonstrated by our teams who have developed the platform. Kudos to them, huge thanks of course to our clients for your ongoing support, and thank you too to Risk for your measured consideration."
Thanks to Work in Fintech and ipushpull, five students from St Oscar Romero School in Worthing came to the new #TPICAP London offices to have a VIP tour of the ICAP broking floor. Work in Fintech was set up to inspire and guide students, graduates and young professionals to a career in fintech. The group were shown around by Mike Ferrant and Chris Scott who gave them insight into the inner workings of life as a broker as well as advice about how to kickstart your career in broking, and as an added bonus they got a great view of the City.

Working with UK charity National Numeracy, TP ICAP is proud to be the founding partner of the UK’s inaugural #NumberConfidenceWeek, from 2 – 6 November. Maths anxiety affects many people in the UK and acts as a barrier to understanding and working with numbers. Together with National Numeracy, we'll be publishing a short report, ‘The Confidence Gap: Women & Number Confidence’, which examines the extent of the number confidence gap in the UK and how this affects women’s careers. Our research found 78% of young British women would not consider a career in financial services, with nearly half saying a lack of confidence with numbers is a reason for this. As an industry, we want to improve #genderdiversity, as well as broader #socialmobility.
