“Everyone will root for you and wants to see you succeed.” "I love working at Whitaker because we have the best, most caring coworkers. I'm very team oriented, and working with this team is the best. Everyone will root for you and wants to see you succeed. It's like its own family, and one of us is addicted to sending treats if you're having a bad day 🍪 (actual evidence of cookies received from a coworker)." - Nikki Lemmert, < 1 year with Whitaker Technical Learn more about what it’s like being a part of the Whitaker team:
PTO is an important benefit to most everyone, however research shows that 46% of American workers don’t take the time they are offered! (Pew Research Center) Reasons cited in the study include: - Fear of falling behind at work - Burdening coworkers with additional duties - Negatively impact chances of career advancement - Company culture that discourages taking time off - Feeling guilty for taking too much time off Refusing to take time off can lead to dissatisfaction and burnout. Some of these can (and should) be addressed to retain valued employees before they lose interest and look for a new job. #counteroffers #professionaldevelopment #recruiting
